New Hours for Jack & Pat’s Butcher Shop
Starting September 9th, our shop will be CLOSED on Mondays. We will continue operating as normal from Tuesday to Saturday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, and from 9 AM to 3 PM on Sunday. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our valued customers.
As some of you are aware, our brother Brian, who is also an owner and operator, experienced a significant stroke while at work on December 15, 2023. As a result, he has lost 50% of his vision and mobility on his left side. Since Brian is left-handed, this has significantly impacted his ability to work. Ever since Brian's stroke, we have only taken three days off from work—Christmas, New Year's Day, and Easter. To cover for his absence, we've extended our working hours from 7:30 AM to 6 PM, seven days a week. However, maintaining this level of work is not feasible for us in the long run. As we age, the need for our own medical appointments, and taking care of household chores and yard work becomes increasingly difficult without time off. We hope that our customers can find another convenient day to visit us, as your support is vital to our business.
Please be assured that on holiday Mondays, such as Memorial Day, Labor Day, and since December 23 falls on a Monday this year, we will be open for business. We are truly grateful for your understanding and continued support.
